Hi everyone,
Im trying to find out what the exact date my contract expires is?

I signed a 24 month term with Telecom when the iPhone 5 came out (I was there at the midnight release at the Auckland HQ lol) which was 28th September 2012 according to Wikipedia. Now my billing cycle (25th of each month) doesn't really coincide with that date so I'm wondering is this month my last month of the contract until 25th September?

The reason I'm wanting to know is because I want to actually port my number to vodafone for a few weeks to see if the signal in my area has improved since I was last with them over 2 years ago. My room was a complete dead zone, same with 2 degrees. I just want to check these things before I commit to another 24 month term when the next iPhone comes out.

Cheers,
Sam.

You'll have to phone them to be sure. Why not just get a Vodafone prepay SIM and test with that first? Will save all the mucking around if you find you have to switch back. You won't need to wait and you'll be good to go when the phone is released.

It will be on your first bill (the one from 23 months ago). If you don't have it, call them. Or use the online chat.

Yeh might grab a cheap sim and give it a go tomorrow then. Which department do you think is best to ring through to?

The online chat will be faster if you're able to use that. If not, *123 or any of the other numbers above will do the job.
