I got a text from Skinny on the 23rd stating that the Big Value combo now has 500 MB bonus data (so 1 GB total) from renewal through to January. Looks like a good deal! I subsequently joined Skinny yesterday and as part of the "activation" process the Big Value combo was activated, but it only showed 500 MB total data. The text message implies that the promotion is only for selected customers, so I figured that it had just lost its "link" due to the Skinny connection being on a new 0204 number. I submitted a port request, and as of today my 021 number (the same one that the text was sent to) is now linked to the Skinny SIM, but it still only shows 500 MB.

Is this something that will fix itself over the next few days, or have I managed to confuse the system somehow?

Edit: I forgot to mention that I'd replied "STOP" to the promo message for some reason (I must've been having a bad day!) so I may have missed a follow-up that explains what to do.

Edit 2: Poking around on the Skinny site, I also noticed that "if you switch and keep your number before 30 October we’ll give you a one off bonus of triple minutes and double data on your first $16 Combo too". This doesn't seem to have been applied either.

Hi

Can you PM me the number that received the SMS on and also the new 021 number that you have ported it onto.  Then I'll get someone to have a look.

cheers
