After the blitz in  December in terms of deployment of the LTE 700 - there seems to be a lull currently -anyone  has heard anything recently as still many licensed sites in the Waikato are yet to go live?

There has been this annual event that tends to mean that people like to take breaks. Plus most telcos have a change freeze over this period.

I'm sure things will crack back into it in the next few weeks when people come back.

I wonder when sites like Te Miro and Piarere are going to be switched on.

Probably over next few weeks, now that workers are back and brown out is over.
I'm guessing you live somewhere in Waikato area too?

Hi Davsri,

We did go on a big blitz in the lead up to Christmas and the New Year because it's always a busy time, especially for areas that don't get a lot traffic ordinarily. Looks like we had a pretty good results over the holidays as a result :)

We're taking the opportunity now to focus on some high priority sites and on our underlying work on our network and equipment, so before too long we'll be looking to turn on larges swathes of LTE700 again very soon!

We normally round up the latest on our network on a weekly-ish basis on our corporate twitter account @sparknzltd too if you're interested, but always happy to answer any questions i can here!

Cheers! ^Sam
