For those who were not aware like me, thanks to BigPipe for this great offer on Grabone - $29.00 for two months for any plan.  It was only till last night but seems it has been extended for few more days.

Things have been pretty dire at BigPipe since nakedmolerat moved to Telstra after the ad debacle

So can you say grab this deal to use on UFB Elite plan for two months, then downgrade to UFB Starter?

Damn I just signed up last week for an install next month. Guess it's too late to get in on this.

I was trying to get on to VF Enterprise offer but VF is not interested and no one seems to know anything about it plus VF in community forums say that no connection fee or contract required if moving from another active VDSL connection but when you talk to the contact center they disagree and even the online sign up option has no option to avoid connection fees or term so going with BigPipe but it's a good offer if someone manages to get the $30.00 discount - http://help.vodafone.co.nz/app/answers/detail/a_id/21918/related/1

I signed up with this offer last Saturday and am still yet to receive any confirmation of a connection date. I contacted Bigpipe support regarding this, and they responded (promptly, I must add) stating that they're waiting on Chorus to process the order.

Is it unusual for it to take this long?

Most orders go through within a few days without any issues, but it depends on the type of order.

Recently we've seen quite a few customers move in to properties where the old tenants/owners haven't shifted their services out which will end up delaying theirs (having to confirm the address, do an abandonment, then submit the order).

I have taken up the Grabone promo and that is exactly what I intend to do.
