I am trying to email Spark with some questions regarding broadband, line tests etc, but there doesn't appear to be any contact forms or email addresses, on their website that I can see at least. It seems like they have gone the social media route, by having online chat, and social media links only. Have tried to chat online, but there was a 10 minute wait with 15 people in the queue, and I missed the operator. So much easier just to email them the questions like the old days, and they would then reply, so I have got a record of it in writing. Is their a contact form somewhere that I have missed?

Got through on online chat, but told I need to contact Chorus to get connection speeds and info for an address. At least Chorus seem to have a contact form.

Jase2985: your ISP should be able to do all that

They couldn't tell me the distance to the excahnge. Previously when they were telecom, they were able to. So they told me to contact Chorus. Not particularly good service to tell me to contact their provider, but you get that when you are dealing with service centres. I could have got it all quickly done if I could just email them, they could then forward the email onto their providers to answer which would be good service, but you don't get that sort of service these days.

Flick me a DM with the address and I will check.

they probably dont know the distance to the exchange.

you dont have any crontract with chorus you have a contract with your ISP. But in saying that most of what you are asking generally isnt available to customers from tier 1 customer service people.

Like above, Tier 1 staff from most ISP's don't have the ability to find out the specific information you were after.

Keep in mind the connection speeds that Chorus tools tell you for your address are estimates; don't use them as the be all and end all of what you should get :)
