I received the following email from skinny tonight:

Congratulations! Your number has been successfully switched to Skinny Mobile.

Follow the steps below to start making the most of Skinny Mobile!

1.Restart your phone with the Skinny SIM card in it.
2.For keeping your number when you switched to Skinny you’ve got your first $16 Combo FREE! (note: If you’re already on the $16, $26, $40 Combo we’ve credited you $16 instead!) This will renew every 30 days if you’ve got enough credit. Extra usage charges and terms may apply.
3.Manage your mobile! At anytime you can visit skinny.co.nz or dial *888# to manage your Combo & check up on your balance.

Unfortunately this has not occurred.

Inserting the skinny sim into my iphone and restarting it still shows the original skinny sim number.
Calling the number i wanted ported over (spark) plays the unreachable message.
Reinserting the spark sim shows that the number is still associated to that sim and hasnt been transferred over.

Is there something im missing?
I have sent an email through to skinny support explaining the above but wondered if anyone else had had something similar occur?
Cheers

I set the port request up on their website on saturday, and the email i received tonight says that the port had been done.
Will have to see if its ported completely in the morning or thier service desk gets back to me lol.
