Hey I just purchased a nokia 6585 from trademe and it is now in the mail, I want to buy a faceplate for it but I cant seem to find one (that actually looks good) anywhere. So I found a similar model (6610) and found a really nice looking faceplate but i want to know if it will fit my 6585, any help?

No, the 6610 and 6585 have different face plates, mainly to make room for the 2.5mm jack on the 6585.

You can purchase the orignal face plate from a Telecom store, but they will most likely have to order one for you. They retail for $40 odd.

The front fits but not the back as it's different to accomodate the jack as Nzbnw said.. You are better off getting an oriiginal plate too.

My mate had a 6610 and I gave him my old 6585 front for his phone.

Old phone but one of the better ones to text on.

Damn, I read somewhere that it is possible to modify a 6610 faceplate to fit the 6585, is this possible??
