Looks like Skinny combos got more data in the past few days. I joined last week on the $26 plan, it got me 1GB data and 300 minutes per 30 days. I checked the pricing page today and it's now 1.5GB and the same 300 minutes. Their $16 combo is up to 1GB of data, with 100 minutes, and their $9 combo is 30 NZ minutes and 100MB data. Everything other than the $9 plan is rollover minutes and data.
So I'll probably stay on the $26 plan for month or two, build up some credit there, then switch to the $9 plan. Or maybe I switch to the $16 plan at the end of this cycle. Seems simple enough to switch, I think you just remove the current combo then choose the new one. Can anyone from Skinny please confirm that this will let your current combo run until its scheduled end date then start the new combo at the start of the next cycle?
To date Skinny works just like Spark. It looks like my cell costs will drop from $39 a month to probably around $16 per month on average, probably less if I can switch back and forward between the $9 plan.
