push not working on xtra/yahoo mail

iPhone 6s and also iPad not receiving push emails on my xtra email account, sending from my PC to Hotmail.com and me.com account then push works on the ios devices and the test messages are received straight away. If I open the mail app and refresh it then the xtra account emails are there no problem just not being pushed to the devices.

I have deleted the account on the devices and reset them up both using the 'Yahoo' setup for imap and also manually entering the settings.

anyone got any other suggestions as up until recently it worked no problem and push does work on other accounts

Are you using the "Yahoo" mail account option when you setup your Xtra Mail account on your iOS Device? I have this setup on an ipad (mine) and Iphone (Wife's) and it works fine.

On Android, I have downloaded the Yahoo Mail app and use that.

yes always set up that way and been working fine till recently, have also tried selecting 'other' and manually setting up as imap neither are working

I have Just tried sending emails to partners Ipad as she uses a sub account of the main xtra account and that is no longer pushing emails either but her outlook account does.
