Ok so i've decided to stick with spark and just move over to fibre on the same company.

Anywho the concept of wiring integration i still don't really get it. I have an alarm system thingy at home, and we called the guy that installed it, and he said 'i don't know whether it would work, but it might'.

My dad just said go for it, i'm just wondering what difference does either of these options makes regarding keeping the alarm system connected to something.

Integrated wiring ensures that the fibre voice line that comes into your property 'integrates' with your existing copper wiring within the home. Without it, you will only be able to plug one phone into the voice port of your fibre ONT, and the rest of the phone wiring in the house becomes redundant (meaning your alarm will also no longer be connected to the rest of the world).

I strongly recommend you select integrated wiring if you have an alarm, or even if you want to continue having your phones in the house plugged into their usual jackpoints. You do however have to ensure that the alarm is compatible with a voip phone line. Most older ones aren't, but only your alarm company would know for sure.

Neat, well the installation guy actually doesn't know. So he said go for it, my dad doesn't really mind either. I don't think the kit is that old either it wasn't installed too long ago. I'll click integrated wiring anyway.

Oh well it doesn't really matter :^))))
