Hello all, I have a pc with outlook 2007 and and an iphone. The problem I have is when I send emails from the iphone they don't show up in the sent folder in outlook and vice versa. Outlook on the pc is a pop account and the iphone is an imap account. I think I have to change the outlook on the pc to imap but I don't know how to do this.

This is working exactly as designed. You're trying to do something with email platforms that were never designed to do this.

If you use IMAP on both it may work. Just be aware IMAP on Outlook 2007 will be problematic.

The best solutuion if you need email on mobile devices and desktop is to move to an email provider that uses solutions designed for what you're wanting. I only ever recommend EAS (ActiveSync) as an email platform if mobile devices are used.

Outlook 2007 is out of support now anyway, so you can change to imap when you change to current software, rather that something that dates back to pre-iphone.

Use IMAP on both to get synchronisation.  Also, Outlook likes to call the sent items folder "Sent Items" but Spark's webmail use the name "Sent".  If you recreate the outlook config then it might pick up on the Special Use flag and use "Sent" - or it might not, and you'll end up with 2 different sent items folders.  If this doesn't work, you can tell webmail to use a different Sent folder to match Outlook - in webmail, use Settings, Accounts, Email, and then select the appropriate folder to use for the Sent special use.
