Does anyone know of any active TV or other video services broadcasting over Spark via UDP via multicast

We don't provide Video services via multicast at all?
Lightbox is our platform.
Reading between the lines, i suspect you have noticed something and questioning it?

I guess that answers that then. Many isps around the globe offer IPTV services to their customers. I'm surprised it hasn't been offered yet.

Currently Vodafone are the only rsp.
There was a big thing awhile back about sky wanting to do this as a service... not sure what happened to that one, it was just press releases afterall..

The demand for Linear channels I guess doesn't warrent it.
However it could still be done as a way of adding value and point of difference. Perhaps targeting the ethnic market such as asian language channel packs. Sky's offering is very very weak in that reguard.
I found this writeup about chorus and multicast quite interesting.

Vodafone are the only players who have taken up Multicast streaming on UFB. It's because they already have a playout platform including CA to distribute the content with and streaming TV boxes that support that CA for distribution of TV over HFC cable in Wellington & Christchurch.
So unless other players want to drop a few million getting into that game then I can't see anyone else offering it.
With Netflix and YouTube dominating the streaming market I think anyone thinking they will come in and have a viable platform and charge any more than Netflix (~$15/Month) or YouTube then they have deep pockets happy to become a millionare sinking multiple millions into the venture.
