I didn't take up Spark's offer of streaming World Cup coverage. The dozen or so games covered by TVNZ should be enough for us.

However, I was on my computer during the Fiji-Aussie game, reading a blow-by-blow Guardian account, and being mildly interested as to how the live game was going, I looked around for a link and found an outfit that offered access to a streamed connection for a 5 day free trial. It also said that they needed my CC details, but that I wouldn't be billed.

I took that with several grains of salt, but went for it because I have a debit card account with nothing in it, so wasn't worried if it turned out to be b-sh*t.

As it happened, after I created the account, there wasn't an option anywhere to enable me to check the Fiji-Aussie game's progress. All that was offered was access to movies and games, although I'm not sure those downloads were working, either.

I immediately cancelled the account and changed my password, but I'm curious to know if any of you guys had the same experience, or have had dealings with Junoh.net.

BTW: Spark was no help with this, so I notified Netsafe.
