Hi moved to another house got a new number , no dial tone , on all 3 phone sockets , the number is alive.
The phone itself does work as tested at my old house and next door neigbour , telecom claims it should be working but  they going to bring a techy to check tomorrow and if its there side problems no charge or 85.00.Ok is there any other things I could check and test out just incase could be issue on myside? I did ask telecom were there any callouts or issues from the previous owners which they said none.

Do you have a disconnected tone or simply nothing at all?

If you have a disconnected tone then the line isn't provisioned properly @ the switch.

If you have nothing then the line is not connected somewhere which could be anywhere between your jackpoint and the switch.

There isn't really a lot you can do about it.

If you are not confident checking the internal wiring yourself the best option is to pay telecom since it would cost more to get your own contractor to look at the problem.

Chances are they have put it on the wrong pair into the house so its something they should be able to sort from outside.
