I have my email going into (Microsoft) Outlook on my computer along with my hotmail. On Wednesday the xtra emails no longer came through. They still work on my phone, plus on the xtra.mail site.

But I can't get them into my outlook account. I've wasted over four hours today trying to get it sorted. Phoned through to Spark who referred me to Microsoft phone - and that sends me to a website.. no person to speak to.

After trying with no luck, phoned back with Spark and person there tried to assist - suggested I delete the xtra account out of it, which I reluctantly did. She was talking me through the settings to reload it - and then went quiet. No person there anymore, although the line was still connected. Gave up in frustration and disgust.

I still haven't been able to work it out, despite copying settings off the internet. Settings below.

Yes, I read that first, and did just go and change my password on the xtra mail site. But still not going through.

I've never been so frustrated!

Not a valid server address, maybe send.xtra.co.nz ? May not be the only issue, but certainly won't help

That'll do it. I hate it when I do something like this. So obvious yet so hard to see.

Thank you all - yes, it was a typo, but I had been putting it incorrectly prior to that. Have tried about 20-30 times I'm sure! Was really going crazy.

Am about to have another go, a new evening and feeling more refreshed.

The email has been working fine on webmail, and also has been coming through fine on my phone connection.

This didn't work:

Neither did this one, and yes, I'd double checked the password, and changed it yesterday.

I really don't know what else to do. It was all working fine for several years in fact, until Wednesday when they stopped coming through into this programme.

I'm using the information from this page Link Here to Spark

SPA should NOT be selected.

Still no go:

And then I get this (regularly)

The troubleshoot link takes me off to Microsoft website suggestions, which doesn't cover it.

I've spent enough time on this tonight - will have another go perhaps tomorrow.

Appreciate those who are watching and commenting.

Have you cut and pasted any information like login or password details. I've had it happen where there's been a space at one end of the cut and paste. It's hard to see but the space corrupts that entry. Try clearing out the information fields completely especially making sure there's not a space at the left of the box and typing the info back in.
