Anyone got any real info on this.  I am part of the 0.3% of people with outage still.

Skinny ISP has no info.  Probably because after ringing Enable Networks, they have no update either, or fix time frame.  4 day outage now !

Latest update from the Enable website:

Thursday, 3 July 2025 - updated at 10.45am

Our team continues to work on the service disruption that has impacted services across 0.3% of the network.

We've identified a potential fix which has been tested successfully overnight, restoring 30% off affected services. A structured rollout across all affected services will take place today.

The intent is to have the majority of affected services restored by the end of the day.

We understand the impact a service disruption has and we're sorry for any inconvenience caused. Restoring services is our number one priority.

If you're experiencing a service outage, please contact your Internet Service Provider. They'll log a fault with us which will help to ensure your connection is reinstated when the issue is resolved.

Further updates will be shared here as they become available.

Thanks for the latest update.  Of course I'm not an Enable customer , but they took my call and were very pleasant, just limited info, but they don't have to tell me anything I appreciate that.

Skinny has just been sending out generic " we are working on this" no time frame.

I suppose I was just after some more technical info on the situation.  But I'm just a standard Skinny Broadband customer probably expecting too much.

Just thought Geekzone members may have some inside info to share out of Geeky interest.   Will see if my connection is active tonight.  Thanks.

Our team continues to work on the service disruption that has impacted services across 0.3% of the network. We're making progress with rolling out the fix, and have now restored two thirds of impacted services.

We remain on track to restore the majority of affected services by the end of the day.

This morning's update from Enable website:

Friday, 4 July 2025 - updated at 11.20am

Yesterday, we progressed with service restoration, and by evening the majority of affected services had been restored.

While we expect this fix to have automatically restored the majority of impacted services, in some cases the equipment at your house might require a reboot.

If your connection has not restored, please try the following steps:

  • Turn off your fibre box (also known as your Optical Network Terminal, ONT)
  • Turn off your modem
  • Turn on your fibre box - wait until the power light and the PON light are green
  • Turn on your modem

We understand the impact a service disruption has and we're sorry for any inconvenience caused.

If you're still experiencing a service outage, please contact your Internet Service Provider. They'll update us to make sure our team keeps investigation.

Thanks for update.   My connection is now active again.   500Mbps Fibre plan,   Seeing 600 to 200Mbs with close wifi range to router.

Hope ONT connection is stable going forward , Have found Skinny/Spark/Bigpipe very stable in past.
