Ok so I'm currently on a 'Flexi' CDMA plan. I, of course, want to be on the XT network but all I want is internet bandwidth and the 600 text plan. No minutes? Any possible way to do this?

Absolutely. I bought a prepaid SIM card today to test out with my iPhone 3G. I've added the 240MB data extra for $18 per month, and the $6 150 txt extra. There are cheaper data extra options available, and you can add the $12 txt extra on pre-paid as well. Any voice or video calls you make will then be costed out of your available pre-pay balance following deduction of your data and txt extras.

The problem is I'm still in the contract and have been given a $299 voucher to get a contract on the XT network so that doesn't really give me any option to go prepaid?

And there's no XT plans to fit my needs?
