I decided on the train last night.. (good coverage from Takapu Rd To Plimmerton)....

Would one of these work with XT?

yes it has wcdma(umts) hsdpa 850 and 2100 that xt uses. dont take my word for it though

The bits in bold are what to look out for to connect to the XT network.

Yes it will, make sure your laptop or whatever has the right slot for it though, with the antennas built in, and that your device will actually allow it (My Dell is BIOS locked to only allow the module Dell supplies - now that I have that it is working fine on XT)
