I just discovered in a post here on geekzone that you can text BAL to 333 to get you balance via text, I hadn't seen or heard of this anywhere before this so I was just curious if anyone knows of any other codes such as to check your addons or mobile data balance?

Vodafone has many of these telecom seems to have them but isn't making them straightforward or obvious.

Yep if you text 'bal' to 333 you will get your balance and texts sent that month to your handset. Please note that this is only for prepaid users.

You can also text a number to 300 to check which network a user is on (i.e. Vodafone or Telecom).

Also for XT users they have Tworld which has 'Your Telecom' on it. This is a free service that outlines your plan and what you've currently used. Shows more information then what we can put into 160 characters :)

Note 'Tworld' is only for WAP capable phones.
