well, this is the first time i am posting a message on this forum so please bear with me if i've posted this thread in the wrong forum.

that aside, i've got a tiny little problem, my wonderful little cousin, whom i can not do anything to cuz she's do darned cute reset my phone, and i mean not ur typical factory reset, she did the *#[edited]# reset on the phone.

Now the phone does no have any number associated to/with it and its complete useless. I was wondering, is there a way to get this fixed? like re entering a number into the system and then getting it work with the telecom network as currently its just sayin searching for network.

if you know how to fix this, please let me know.

Telecom customer service should be able to speak you through the settings ring them

yeah i did ring them. The person who i talked to didn't even know what i was talking about. I told them exactly what had happened and she didn't know what i was talking about.

If no one gives you another question in this forum (wait until Monday morning, since a lot of people read this from work), then you might have to take to a Telecom reseller - they will know what to do.

If it says searching for network, then it has mucked up more than just the nam settings, its done something to the network settings, and it is very unlikely that a dealer will be able to help you directly (or Telecom for that matter).

Unless someone knows offhand how to fix it on here, then you will likely have to send the phone to MFR (at your cost).

You could be in luck. I know the programming codes and have all the settings (CDMA channels etc). Does anyone think this could help?

hmm... i've done what brad said to do and it didn't work.

Infact, we did the same reset on another phone and it also became useless xcept one thing, the phone with did the reset on was under warranty.. hehe ^_^. but yeah, even if u enter all the nam settings, it still dies :(.
