Hi im just wanting to know if its worth getting interleaving turned off? :)

I play alot of games so i was wondering if it might improve performance pingwise.

Im on the Telecom Explorer plan

Hi, interleaving will knock 30-40mS of your ping time, but its only worth doing if you line condition is good. Can you post your modems line stats.

Well i got interleaving turned off now, seems to of been a good choice

 I use to get about 40 ping to NZ servers, and about 60-70 to Australia

I don't know why it says 0 ping for 1 of the servers, but my ping does sit at around 6-10 ping on CS:S according to the net graph

is there anyway to check interleaving on a Thomson TG585v7?
Cant seem to find anything, even when using telnet

I did do that in the past, but im unaware at its current state, dont want to request it off incase its already set to off and they just turn if back on

Well if you requested it off, it probably is off. My interleaving got turned off within a day. Rung up one night, next morning it was off :)
