Hi All,

just wondering if there is a sevice with Telecom that will allow me to send a message from email to mobile and charge the message to my Telecom account.
So the email 'to' addy would be 027xxxxxxx@xxxxxx.co.nz or something similar.

Just trying to setup a text message alert.

Hope this makes sense

Yeah thought about that but the text would send will no more than 1 or 2 a month
it doesnt have to be with telecom if its free

Most phones will allow you to send an SMS from their PC software, not quite an email client, but perhaps try this?

There are numerous commercial services including etxt (Telecom) however if you're only wanting 1 or 2 message a month they won't interest you. There is no simple pay as you go option available.
