Excuse me if this is repeated or I have the wrong end of the stick...but I understand the iphone 4 only can use a micro-sim..is this correct?

As a XT on account customer I was wondering what I have to do to get my new iphone up and running (when it arrives). I really dont want to go back to Vodafone.

cheers

Two options, you could cut your existing sim to fit, or get one from telecom: http://www.nbr.co.nz/article/telecom-confirms-micro-sim-plans-hello-iphone-4-125858

Telecom has confirmed Micro SIM's will be available from early August and rolled out to Telecom retail stores as stock becomes available.

Contact your local store to get an approximate arrival date. If they have no stock many stores have "SIM cutters" which will cut your current SIM down to fit and you can get a micro SIM later if you choose.

--- Oh yeah you can just cut it yourself if you want to, the cutter just makes it easy :)
