In general my Telecom internet broadband speed is OK - not amazing but OK - but there is one site I use often which is so slow to load that it won't load in Chrome at all and only manages to load all the css in Firefox about 1/2 the time - its http://hubpages.com Its a huge site - about 57th according to Qnantcast so there is no problem their end - and I never had a problem on telstra- but this is driving me insane as they have an interactive uploader which just won't load for me at the moment.

I am in Wellington/Johnsonville - if you can get the site to load reasonably fast - its very random - I cant get the front page to load at a ll but my own home page will - even if most of a page loads I cant get images to load

This is the only site that I have problems with so I am suspecting the so-called transparent proxy at Telecom's end . This problem is ongoing for months

Proxy issue. Loaded fine for me in CHCH on Telecom. I have this same issue with other sites though that load fine for other Telecom users and it appears to be that dam proxy (in my uneducated opinion). You can report a proxy site problem to ptinson using pm as mentioned in this thread: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=39&topicid=67508

Is it just the uploader that is giving issues or the site in general?
