telecom says that they are going to shut down the 025 network in 2007 what do you guys thing they will do wtih it just shut it down or sell it? tell me what yous think

Its old technology, but hopefully it will be recycled, or sold cheaply to a developing nation (Australia? :-P)

How do ya figure that? Telecom has replaced the network, given years of notice, and is making serious effort to migrate customers (well, serious effort in the managed account space anyway - the consumer deals to migrate are a bit fux0red from what ive seen).

Is there some legislation involved?

Have you been on holiday? Havent seen you a while...

Not really a holiday as such... just an intimate relationship with my job :-(

Thanks for setting me straight there Jama... I figure if the TDMA were shut down with 30 days notice or whatever, the govt would have just the excuse they seem to be looking for to regulate Telecom and not Voda Telstra etc...
