Hi All,

Can someone please refresh my memory and tell me the best way to setup some people using a domain from behind and xtra DSL connection?

I seem to recall there are some hooks in setting it up around port 25?

They are mycompany.co.nz and the mail server is mail.mycompany.co.nz for example.

I would have expected to setup incoming email to mail.mycompany.co.nz and then outgoing to send.xtra.co.nz with 465 and SLL - login credntials for outgoing I assume would have to be the xtra email and username?

.....or am I wayyyy of track?

-Al

You can do that but you have to add the email addresses one at a time to the xtra webmail interface etc.

Best is to send thru your own server, either on another port or with port25 after you have filled in the form to get yourself back on slightly less restricted internet service. That way you can control the server and not have to deal with random changes at xtra/yahoo breaking things.
