Seems like this promotion is back on the One Rate180 24month plan.

Would you do it?

As long as you know how to setup the device and enter the settings yourself, it's an okay offer, yes :)

Just bear in mind that if you experience network issues, Telecom's infrastructure team will completely dismiss your issues because it's a "non-Telecom device". Been there, done that. Good thing I still had my old E75 to record against the issue, otherwise I'd have been screwed.

This attitude is changing and should not pevent customers from logging no-device related issues with the XT Network.

Neal can I log a job with you regarding an issue with my Motorola PC 550 not working on XT?

Good to hear - you might want to prod them again, because I logged an issue a mere couple of weeks back and the infrastructure guy even went to all the trouble of telling me that he'd removed my number from the "affected customers" list for the job because it wasn't a Telecom supplied handset.  It was only after I mentioned that my old E75 bought from Telecom Mobile had the same issue that he relented on that.

After recent poor performance issues with Vodafone, I'm seriously considering it, yes.

But it doesn't compete very well for those of us who use a lot of data. On Smart1 with Vodafone, you can get 3GB for $40. Yes it's a promotion that can be pulled with 30 days notice, but as long as it's in place, it's hard to beat, assuming the network performs of course.

The 1gig plus 2500texts smartphone extra for $38 was a good deal. Add it to prepay. I try not to text, the data portion only stings $24 a month. You pay through the nose for calls if you don't use voip.
