Hi

I have a Telstra Turbo modem which work was chucking out so I grabbed it. I have successfully paid to have it unlocked, have upgraded the firmware using the Telstra Turbo Modem Manager and associated software and would like to use it on the Telecom network.

I've tried hunting hi and low for the software and came across Telecom Connection Manager which I have seen many a time but did not think it would work for mobile broadband. Upon install, it says that is does not support Windows 7 Enterprise 32bit so I did not proceed any further.

Is there a software I can download and use with this device or just a download that will work with any mobile broadband device for the Telecom network? I tried one of the install software packages for the ZTE devices but my guess is that it is device specific.

Any ideas?

Why not just manually create a Telecom connection on the Telstra device and connect that way?

Yes, i agree, best to use the connection manager that comes with the Telstra device and create a TNZ profile with internet.telecom.co.nz as the APN.  The Tesltra connection manager software will have the correct drivers for device and will give you the best performance.
