My daughter has been trying to help me but she thought it would be faster if I asked here.  I bought a new phone today (Samsung S5511T).  The theme on it is a black background with white writing, the lady in the shop told me I wouldn't be able to change this but I noticed that I'm able to choose from 3 themes on the phone and is it possible to load a new theme on the phone that's a little easier to read i.e. black writing on a white background.

Thank you for any help you are able to give.

Welcome to Geekzone. I don't believe there is much you can do to customize these phones. Hopefully someone who owns one or has access to one will see this thread and be able to help.

I'm afraid its just a run off the mill phone nothing more so can't be changed. Given the reviews and price may have been better getting an I5503T from Dick Smith, had one and was very good for what you paid for it. Huawei is not too bad either but really depends on what you want to be able to do.

Android is able to be customised however cheaper ones are quite slow so can be nuisance.

+ cheaper ones often don't offer a larger enough screen size, suitable to be controlled by our fat fingers! Wink
