It has a mini USB plug on it. I thought those died along with the motorazr? I certainly have only seen microUSB on phones for a while and thought it was the standard now.

Ah well, I guess I can look forward to the socket becoming loose and hopefully get a warranty replacement for it, shame I thew out all my old car chargers that had a mini on them.

Other than that supriseing thing is that the phone is quite responsive and usable. Not got it full of SMS and contacts yet as I need to find a way to sync it with something, but my concerns about getting this over the nokia were unfounded, and after the last nokia I got wouldn't charge off the microusb, only sync I would probably end up in the same situation as far as chargers went, with nokia.

So anyway now I just have to get the port sorted before the number dies at 2degrees.

Is it the same mini-USB used on a lot of digital cameras and other devices (the older Nokia phones like the N95 used mini-USB before they standardised on micro-USB)?

I have seen some cheap ZTE phones with some sort of odd USB connector, that is not the same as the mini-USB on digital cameras and older Nokia phones and not the same as the micro-USB used on most modern phones either. Not sure which standard that one is. If your Huawei uses the same cable as digital cameras and older Nokia phones, count yourself lucky that it isn't a complete orphan.
