The credit gets applied to your account, so indirectly it is off what you buy. However the catch here is that you have to be on that plan or above for 6 months.

joker97: But with no free telecom telecom?

Darn need more data ....

Depending on what your data requirements are, you can take the $19 prepaid deal, and then when you get close to using your 500mb data, look at buying anohter 500mb data 97 day expiry) for only $10.  Catch here is 7 days expiration date.

plambrechtsen:
Dingbatt: Haven't reached limits on talk, data or texts yet, so no real affect on me. However, an increase in anything without an increase in cost is good. 3 smartphones are a possibility in the Christmas spend, they are currently on VF, but with improved handsets available on Telecom combined with this deal it may be time to change. If only there was the equivalent of VF's 'family' deal it would be a no-brainer for me.

There is... It's called My Favourites.  Where you can for $6 add a Telecom mobile or Telecom Landline and talk as much as you want... Is that what you were looking for?

Plus I can do the employee referral if you want and get an extra $100 off a handset if you were looking to purchase one over and above what ever plan you decided to signup to if you wanted to move to Telecom using the employee referral.  Feel free to email me pl at telecom dot co dot nz if you're interested.

VF Family and My favorites are indeed very different. With the VF family everyone can call each other where as with the telecom option you can only call tehe number you have added. In VF Family the head f the family adds numbers and the members of the family can then call each other free. This has been one thing that has always stopped me from switching to telecom although I have been a telecom landline and broadband customer for the last 7 years. Would switch in a heartbeat if there was a way around it.
