refrain: Apparently they have been swamped with application forms, hence the delays in responding and activating the plan. I too just signed-up, so see how it goes!

Interesting to learn from my call that many of the FoH staff haven't been trained in the product yet, due to its pending release to New Users come Feb 2011. I explained that it is available online, even though if you follow the links from the homepage you can't actually access the THB page and application form.

Yeah was kinda meant to be a secret...

About to push the button.. Does anyone know if Static IPs (if you have one, which I do from the Pro plan) are maintained? or is there an extra cost..

Static IPs appear to be maintained at no extra cost

It also appears Telecom have fixed whatever the issue was with billing- my bill was processed today and is not much higher than normal (in fact the only reason it is higher is because I went over my usage on the old plan before switching, along with calls during the holidays etc). VERY happy :D

Are people still waiting to be moved to this plan ? I sent my application through last Thursday and have heard nothing back. I assume there is a backlog but we are coming up on a week ?

I applied on the 13/01 @ 1550 hrs. By 1000 hrs on the 15/01 I was on the new plan.
The only change I have noticed, is that interleaving got turned on. Will wait and see if it makes any difference before requesting its reversal.

I knew nothing about the new plans until I was phone by a Telecom rep yesterday. Swapped up from the previous 40gb to 60gb. All activated today.  Thanks Telecom
