everybodylovesfebs: Talked to skinny they pretty much told me they targeting teens and not willing to accommodate corporate slash business users who need both calling mins and data.

Skinny was only ever aimed at a narrow 16-24 age group. This was the sole purpose of the brand.

It was only ever aimed at this age group, but clearly grew slightly beyond that.

Telecom's biggest flaw with Skinny was this narrow bracket because they were too scared to hurt XT, but in reality they just let customers walk to 2degrees because they didn't have a competitive offering.

Personally i hope Skinny survives. Last week my wife who is on Telecom's Onebill system was away for a week. Onebill charges 57c/ min . I put a skinny SIM in her fone and for $12 she got 120 minutes. Those same minutes on Onebill would have cost her $68. Quite a savings. Even on prepay @44/min (Telecom & 2D) it would have cost her $52..
