Will the dimensioning on BUBA be removed ........... eventually ? I remember the internet speed back when we were with Telecom to be 4+ Mbps all day, everyday. It was similar when we swapped to Slingshot when the Big Time plan was axed.
Average was about 5-6 Mbps.
Now we barely get 1 Mbps most of the time.
It is extremely poor, especially when legacy equipment is capable of so much more, as previously proven.
Contacting Chorus was a waste of time, they just suggest signing up with the Vodafone RBI wireless, which is very expensive, small data caps and if BUBA restrictions removed .... the land line would be faster.
Perhaps I am ignorant here, and if so forgive me. But is there not an abundance of stupidity going on with this BUBA business. Its clear it is not working out. (Again sorry if there is more to this picture)
At the moment, my feelings are that someone needs a boot over this, because performance has decreased over 75% +.
Though its not the end of the world, it is extremely annoying sharing 1 Mbps with several other house members who are using you tube, browsing etc, while trying to game myself. It is nothing less than fruitless.
