Grab yourself an 025 over at TradeMe This one is stunner and it can 'be connected to 027 if done before the end of the month'

I love this comment on that auction:

Sorry for the confusion. This is a TELECOM phone, runs on the CDMA network, not BRAND. If you open up the back cover of this unit, it does have a slot for GSM SIM Card (but not enabled in New Zealand, workable in the USA). This is the same for Nokia 3205 phone (they can run on GSM or CDMA network, depending on the local configuration, based on the country).

A perfect example of why I can't be bothered with Trademe any more!

lol... typical.. Most phones on TM are liquid damaged and people are trying to sell them off quick before they go bad.\

I should setup some "gsm converted" sanyo phones., they magically connect to your 021 Simcard by no contact. Most idiots would not know what number portability is!

025 is now OOR now, No signal, so much for Midnight! Time to now aquire some of the 025 gear to go with probably every AMPS phone ever made!.

Anyone here have any ideas on whom to contact?

As per the press release, it was supposed to loose signal at around 9pm tonight.

Stuff: Telecom is also offering 025 customers discounts for those trading in old phones, transfer of their old 025 number to a new 027 prefix and free call transfers for 12 months till 6pm on March 3.
