Hmm I'm getting some speed issues also, unable to break the 1.7MiB/s barrier on most sites even if I'm multi-threading. The average speed I get using Curl is 1649k and it's weird since I see it start off fast (at approx 4MiB/sec) then within 5 seconds the download appears to throttle itself down to 1.7MiB/s and stay there.

It seems the problem is the Telecom Cache, if I download a test file from my own server (here) I get 4.1MiB/s average with actual traffic being just 60KiB/sec hitting my server during the download, if I move the file to force it to bypass the Telecom Cache (here) all the traffic hits my server (for now, until it becomes cached) - I see 3.8MiB/s hitting the server, the download starts off at that and goes down to about 1.7MiB/s (max)

The caching policy Telecom use might have to be looked at, I'm able to max out my line with torrents but HTTP downloads suffer and reflect ADSL2+ speeds every time until the object becomes cached.

This is just a conspiracy theory.

Seems the global limits were reached. My torrents speed become slower as well, now it is 0.7-0.8 MB/sec. Upload speed even more crappy, i'm sending e-mail right now with 70MB attachments, after 6 hours, i'm still waiting when it will send completely.
