Would be interesting to see what replacement you get, I was just told to wait for firmware update. I even asked for replacement since telecom knew about issue at time of install but stayed silent.
Thanks all for figuring this out. Thought I was going a little crazy with Windows 8.1. One of the websites that has a DNS problem is xbox.com so when trying to set some things up prior to Xbox One arrival was a real hassle. I use UnoTelly (for DNS services) and have just tested with it turned on and sure enough DNS issue goes away.
Telecom please confirm when firmware update has been applied to the VDSL modem.
