joker97: Good idea. Hopefully they have a non Knox 4.2.2 rom there although the ability to control access on 4.3 is so tempting ... are there any non knox 4.3 rom?

AFAIK Knox isn't in 4.2.2, it's in 4.3, that's why I'm still on 4.2.2. If you want a non-knox 4.3 rom I think Echoe ROM can do it - this one I think.

all of the Custom 4.3 Roms are the old bootloader, stock 4.3 will have Knox bootloader as will any Samsung 4.4 roms

Yabanize:

May I ask where you get just CSC files from and not the whole tar.md5 rom?

There's historically been a few repositories on XDA & the like, but they can be extracted from the single .tar packages as well. From memory (Has been a few years since I've needed to) it was with cygwin in a Windows environment. Should be able to turn up tutorials if you search XDA for 'extract CSC from tar' or similar.

Requisite disclaimer that all of the above is At One's Own Risk. :)

You think XDA has NZ CSC's?

Yeah I know its my own risk, i flash roms and stuff at my own risk too ;)

At the moment i think im using a deknox'd BTU rom, was wondering about changing the CSC to a NZ one

Is it true that TVNZ On demand is built into the 4.3 S4 roms?

They did for the Note II & S III, at least, although that was due to HD Voice being disabled by default for many regions. NZ's operator codes are VNZ, TNZ, & NZC (From when 2d was known as NZ Communications).

Had a quick google & didn't find too much NZ CSC-wise for the S4, the last TNZ update was reportedly to I9505XXUEMK9. It may be easier to flash that in full, then reflash a custom ROM without a CSC, but then again if you extract the CSC from MK9 & confirm it works with TCNZ 4G overtop of other regions' builds, it could be a handy thing for others as well. Good luck! :)

Understandable - I've tripped Knox & am not particularly concerned, but then I didn't have a choice in its bundling as it came in the Note 3's shipping software.

No fast dormancy on TCNZ.

Fast dormancy toggle app doesn't work for me on this rom:( the status is blank and the toggle button brings up errors. Any other way to find out the status and/or toggle it?
