Cunliffe's announcements:

- the auctioning of 2.5 GHz spectrum, to be auctioned with the already-announced 2.3 GHz spectrum band, in December. This is so there is certainty for investers - all the spectrum is on the table when LLU comes on line. 2.5 GHz is the spectrum used by Sprint/Nextel for WiMAX. I believe this spectrum is currently used for TV broadcasting (or TV outside broadcasting?)

- new Commissioner is Dr Ross Paterson, a lawyer currently working in Australia. Will start 12 July.
