plambrechtsen: I'm fairly sure that resource consent had been granted for r&v and r&a... resource consent isn't a thing that happens overnight and then sorting out networking and power.
Not to mention the difficulties from some local bodies when it comes to applying for and being granted consent for COWs.
People need to come to accept that providing coverage to large numbers of people in a relatively small area is very, very, very, very challenging and in some cases there quite simply is no solution. Moving forward people are going to have to be a lot more accepting of network congestion because it's going to be something that's going to get a lot worse. It somebody was to change the laws of physics and remove any reference to noise floor it'd make life a whole lot easier.
