Hey All.

Would anybody be able to tell me how to run a line test for my connection?
Would be interested to know if VDSL would be significant or margin increase of speed.

Thanks in advance!

If you are with Telecom I can run a line test and flick me an email "pl at telecom.co.nz" otherwise ring your ISP and ask them.

For those that want a quick and dirty estimate you can use the speedtest calculator
http://www.speedguide.net/dsl_speed_calc.php

You only need your attenuation from your modem.

Sorry no clickable link. On mobile....

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.
