I was unable to connect to Pop3 all day yesterday. Then I realised it was no longer accepting the "01" on the end of my username. I have an old "xtr" username - the ones that the first few tens of thousands of customers got in 1996 when Xtra started before you could choose your own username. When connecting you use xtr123456, but in mail you have to use xtr12345601 otherwise it won't work. So troubleshooting I dropped the 01 and it works. Bet there are still a few thousand "original" customers out there, but they are probably technical enough like me to try the same.
Now the only issue is I'm getting 20 times the spam I was getting before!!! Anyone else having this???
