In a noisy RF environment (ie your average urban environment these days) 40Mhz channels on 2.4Ghz will typically result in degraded performance.




Hi - how do you that please? I can only find the option to change the Ghz channel, as below:

It is also worth noting that most new Apple products are not WiFi alliance certified as they do not fully comply with the WiFi certification standards. WiFi issues with Apple products are now a massive issue.

Sorry - I assume by "very top screen" you mean the one in my first post? That's the one for the HG630b, which, of course, I'm not using for the wireless function. It's the 2Wire I'm using, and nowhere does it have the option to make that change.

Unless changing it in the HG630b does in fact change the band width when using the 2Wire for wireless?
