hio77: is this noticed over wireless or ethernet?

Assuming you haven't been rebooting there, it looks although DLM is making movements.

Your on DLM-6

Yes same as before.

you have a tonne of FEC errors before and after

your SNR before was 9.8 and now its 12.x. there is nothing you can do to change this with your modem. I was on a 9 SNR at one point and got about 7=8mbps higher sync speed.

i have the same modem as you do

can be an issue with this modem and windows 8.1. regarding slow page loading times. I have had this before as have many people. the best thing to do is manually specify sparks DNS servers for your ethernet/wifi adapter. this should solve the issue

I noticed it didnt happen all the time, only sometimes, and its to do with the way the router handles DNS requests.

Dont be surprised if it takes longer.

or you dont get it all the way back to where it was

Well that would be a shame :(  I will try and ask them to fix it or move to another port and see what DLM does next time.  Tech support guy assured me I will get what I was getting.

He was wrong to do that. It's out of control of the RSPs, and can be affected by things such as other users close by getting VDSL enabled. it is not reasonable to expect that your VDSL line will always remain at high 60's.

I would very very strongly hope that if you complained that your speed was "only" in the 40's or 50's that our helpdesk would NOT request a port change.

Cheers - N
