What is the connection from house to street?

I told my neighbour awhile back that his aerial drop lead must have come loose as it was wrapping itself around our lead. He had noticed some noise. He rang Spark around 7pm and a Chorus van was on site by 8.15am. I have had similar quick results. It must help to be just up the road from a good pie shop. In the morning pick your trade and there'll be a van outside it.

Jase2985: just for your info, i bet you would have had the same issue no matter what your ISP, so there is no real need to go throwing your toys and blaiming spark, they provide the service, they are not responsible for wiring from the exchange to your house or for the wiring in your house.

so please dont go ranting at your ISP unless you know they are the actual issue

Switched to Spark last year, Never had this issue even with them, only since last month! Calling them doesn't help, now somebody from Spark has messaged me so I sent him an email with the details. Will update if it sorts things out.
