that stupid warning.. email from yahoo-xtra should atleast tell you the email tried to used right? would make investigating alot easier..
for now just monitoring situation..
again the warning is to do with email address and reply to address not being xtra but the send for pop and his credentials were legit.. but yahoo security detected it.
the page he was filling in (an update pagea) he clicked from yahoo after logging in via the other link and he didnt know what he was doing is all.. the email is legit warning..
As for the e-mail, seems legit to me, just connected to send.xtra.co.nz and attempted to send from a non registered From: address and received the server response: '553 From address not verified - see http://www.telecom.co.nz/error553' plus got the below e-mail (looking through the headers it is sent from within the Yahoo mail system)
cheers the password shouldnt be guestable.since its not a word in dictionary and have numbers as well.we dont really want to change it.. hes old and wont remember and would have to update many things if do change it.
the recent history only shows 3 logins from NZ which I believe is him (it dont list the ips used either)
no way to show all or have a week worth?
it dont show logins to pop3 sending
so its not so useful..
still the email warning should tell you the email it was trying to send from would help ALOT
and spark need to update the warning email so it appears from them more legit :)
