If it's the one I'm thinking of, it didn't have a colour screen and was $700+. I can't find it anywhere either. Not sure it was very common. It had really cool sounding ring tones for it's day too. I remember it being around in my high school days so 2000-2004ish.

Yeah no hits so far.
I was in high school too when it was in the telecom store - was very expensive. I dont think it did mms or had a camera. I was buying one of the first mms phones at the time - on a promo where you had free mms messaging for like a year.

The small phone I had for work which I'm thinking of is a Samsung SCH-N105

I found this old article from computerworld which gave me the model number...

HotDogBreath:
nitrotech: Wasn't their a CDMA version of the Ericsson T10.

I really loved my T28 and T39

On TDMA there was the Ericsson AF778 (I used to have one. Very nice phone in its day). It's all coming back to me now. lol

That was my first phone (that I bought for myself, all hand-me-downs prior to that). I remember signing up for $25 a month, it came with $200 free credit already loaded, and you got 200 off-peak minutes a month.  ARRRH those were the days...

EDIT: more memories, phone was free on two year contract, it was Jan/Feb 2000 i got it

Cripes, Kyocera, Samsung, Sanyo...those CDMA phones...memories!

I used to have an Aircard 580 as well. Went quite fast compared to GPRS :)

joff_nz: I remember it. Very square, not outer screen I think.

I'm thinking samsung. There was the A420 which was around the same size, but later. The X609 was around the same generation, but bigger. Can't put my finger on the model. I worked in Telecom retail a couple of years after that, so still had the odd one floating around.

Edit:

There was also the nokia 2355, which was tiny - but the fact you compared it to a mtchbox makes me think you had somethign squarer in mind.

Edit 2:

So, I wnt googling because I'm off sick today and it seemed a good way to pass sometime. I Think I found your answer right here on GZ

Samsung A591?

Didn't see your edits, but yes the A591 is the phone I was thinking of. Now I look at it I remember it had small buttons and was hard to text on quickly. Which was big struggles at age 14/15.

Looking through that post and seeing all the phones I owned reminds me I've been a phone w*ore for many years now.
