hellonearthisman: I don't see telecom doing a thing for the public good
hellonearthisman: As soon as Telecom see work been done to make a better network, they suddenly find a way to do it better, but only in the area of competition. ie cheaper phone lines in the area's that have compition,
hellonearthisman: Most of the charity stuff from Telecom was offering discount on there phone services, locking them in a customers.
Maybe I am to much of a socialist Tony for these corporate ideals.
I find it sad to see corporations opting to make a little money as long as they can stop the compition from making any (gives them more market share), when if they comrads they could both make ever more.
Maybe I am to much of a socialist.

I don't any more figures that waht you have provided, but it states they have 1000 charities (not just the half dozen big name charities, like the ones you mentioned.) that get 10% sponsorship. I regard that as a token that locks them to the Telecom provider.
