of all the features they could have their developers working on, I would think this would be one of the least useful.

Why??   It's very handy and has been asked for on GZ when the unlimited plans came out  some time ago..  Always nice to see how much data you have used..

It's quite literally the definition of 'nice to have'  which means it isn't that important.

Judging by thew comments below your post  it is.

Sigh... If this turns into a scoreboard I wouldn't be surprised to see that usage meter disappear again.

In that case highest score before it gets taken down wins tongue-out

I'm sure the Spark customer base are far more mature than that. laughing

Judging by the fact these people have stayed with spark all this time without a usage meter on their unlimited plan, I would say it perfectly meets the definition of not very important.

If a usage meter were so important to these people they would have either

1) churned to another provider

2) found some other way of measuring their usage (it's not that hard, especially for the average geekzone user.)

I hope not. Helps me understand who is using what, when and allows me to compare with what I think is going on. Was a little disaapointed when I changed plan and saw the "Hey, you're unlimited, so you don't have to worry about this anymore" message.

In all seriousness I can't see why users should not get there data usages for unlimited.
Snap/2Degrees has been giving me this data for several years on my unlimited plan and I don't think the sky has fallen down yet.

Surely anyone who cares enough to post their usage can look at there figures on their router anyway?
