Thought I'd give Skinny Wireless another try (tried it out a few months back but found the data caps too restrictive), disappointed to see after my first day of testing that whilst I could get 30Mb/s down/up during the day, this evening I'm maxing out around 5Mb/s. Guess I'll return the modem and stick with my ADSL connection.

Yep, Truenet rates fixed wireless around the same level as ADSL... I'd say they've oversubscribed their current capacity but it's still a better deal for me that Chorus rediculous $2,600 connection fee for the 1/2m between my copper and theirs!
